  1. After working hard in Mr. Hurley's class for projects my favorite of all projects is the Geoosciences. I chose to make a volcano because its fun when volcanoes erupt but not a ral one then that would be scary but i meant a school project eruption with baking soda and vinegar. It was also fun because i got to paint the volcano and it was fun.

My favorite end of the year project was the perspective writing assignment. It was probably my favorite because you have to try and make the audience feel sorry for the bad guy, which was kind of interesting for a writing assignment. It was fun to try and make the bad guy look nice and the hero look evil. That's why I liked the perspective assignment.

  3. After working hard on all of the projects, I would say that my favorite project was the Iliad project. I liked it the best because my group got to make a video on the death of Hector. I played Achilles, Bob played Hector, Meghan played Andromache, and Tre played King Agememnon. Shane did the filming. I thought the best part was when Bob and I had a sword fight. So that's why it was my favorite project in the sixth grade.

  4. I liked all of the projects but my favorite was the perspective writing. Why I liked the perspective writing the most is because it let me take Medusa’s story and make it something fresh and new

  5. My favorite project was when we did the Iliad project. that was a project we did after we read the book Iliad. For the project your group had an option of filming or doing a comic about one part of the story that was your favorite. Our group did a comic about achillies killing hector and celebrating, then hectors brother shot an arrow at achillies's ankle and achillies died.

  6. My favorite project was the iliad because we got to make a 5 minute show and show it in front of the clas. Osman, Eli, and Kaylynn were in my group Osman was Achilles, I was Hector, Kaylynn and eli were narators, my favorite sceneof the iliad was when Achilles and Hector fought because I could be over dramatic when osman ( Achilles) slashed me with the sword. That is why the Iliad project was my favorite.

I would have to say that the volcano was my favorite project because it was my first time doing a volcano and I liked how it all turned out. In the research I learned so much and I hope everyone who reads it will to. In my opinion I had fun with all the projects and I hope to do fun ones like these at middle school.

  9. We have had many projects trod the end of the year. But my favorite is the group projects. I enjoyed it because; I got to work with my friends on a fun learning experience. I got to think of how to make our poster fun and interactive for all ages. We did have arguments about the projects, but at the end we mad an amazing poster. I also liked the Ancient Civilization project I enjoyed finding out more about Greece. I also liked building the diorama. These are the two projects I liked the most. KF #10

  10. My most favorite project that we've done this school year is the Epic Poem.It was my most favorite project because we got to work with one of our friends, and that we had a lot of fun brainstorming ideas about our story. We also got to travel to the far ends of our galaxy (aka, the court-yard and parts of our classroom)! We had about a month to finish our project, and it turned out great, except for the fact that we forgot two more challenges in the Epic Poem.

  11. Over the course of the year we did many projects but one of my most favorite six grade project would be the allegory story. An allegory story is a short moral story and usually uses animals as characters. I wrote my allegory story about Astro Camp and I used squirrels as my characters. We had about a month or even more than a month to do this project. We also got to move around the classroom and outside to do this project. Most of the six graders typed theirs projects in their netbooks some were hand written. Our class had wild imaginations and they inspired me to let your imagination run wild when your writing a story, and so I wrote a story that was 8-9 pages long that had a lot of detail. I had a lot of fun doing this project and I hope my classmates felt the same way as well!

  12. This article was very interesting i thought being obese would just give you diabetes, heart disease and cancer I didn't think your memory, nerves, and blood flow. It shocked me when the volunteers came back when they lost 50 pounds and did much better on their second time taking the test. What shocked me was 72 million people are fat in America. Somebody that is obese might say that this article is not true because they don't want to think bad of themselves or they are good at remembering things

  13. Obesity should not be based off of weight. The doctor said my dad is obese , but he works out every day and eats well. he has a lot of muscle, so he is 5'10'' and 190 lbs. My friends dad is also ''obese'' and he's 5'10'' 175lbs. The doctor says someone who is 5' 10'' should be 155lbs. My dad used to be a body builder and was 155lbs in high school. I also think that candy should only be allowed on Halloween. If there is no candy then we won't have 72 million people who are obese.
